THERAPIST (He/Him)
Devin Johnson, LPC-A
Supervised by La'Morra Cornelius, PhD, LPC-S
Something brought you here. A weight you've been carrying quietly, a version of yourself that feels harder to hold onto lately, a sense that you should have this figured out by now but don't. Whatever it is, you don't have to have it fully figured out before we start.
Most people come to me during a season that's shaken something loose, an identity, a sense of self, a version of themselves they thought they'd have figured out by now. We'll spend time understanding how you got here, but we won't stay stuck there. I draw on CBT, DBT, and family systems approaches to help you build real tools for handling hard emotions and relating to yourself and others differently. I especially enjoy working with men learning to name and sit with their emotions for the first time, and with anyone navigating anger, grief, or burnout.
A lot of what we carry gets handed to us early, expectations, roles, ways of coping that helped once but don't fit anymore. Together we'll figure out what's actually yours to keep and what you're ready to set down.
You've already done something hard by getting this far. I'd be glad to help you take the next step.
