Grief Therapy in Fort Worth & Across Texas

Grief does not follow a schedule or a set of stages. It shows up at unexpected times, in unexpected ways, and it does not always look the way other people think it should. You might be grieving a death, but you might also be grieving a relationship that ended, a future you thought you would have, a version of yourself, or a life that changed in ways you never chose.

Whatever you are grieving, it deserves space. Grief therapy is not about moving on or getting over it. It is about learning to carry loss in a way that does not consume you.

What We Help With

Loss of a loved one, anticipatory grief, complicated or prolonged grief, grief after sudden or traumatic loss, grief after suicide loss, pregnancy and infant loss, grief related to divorce or relationship endings, grief after a diagnosis, and the cumulative weight of multiple losses over time.

How We Work

Our therapists use person-centered, trauma-informed, and attachment-based approaches to grief. Nona Perry, LCSW has specific experience supporting clients through loss and leads the Healing Together group, a free open process group for women that often addresses grief alongside other life experiences. EMDR is also available for clients whose grief is connected to traumatic loss.
