Teen Therapy in Fort Worth & Across Texas

The teenage years are genuinely hard, and not in a way that goes away on its own. Adolescents today are navigating academic pressure, social media, identity questions, family stress, and mental health challenges that previous generations didn't face in the same way or at the same scale.

Teen therapy at Mindful Possibilities is a space where your teenager can talk to someone who isn't a parent, teacher, or coach , someone who's trained to help and doesn't have a stake in the outcome. We work with teens individually and, when appropriate, involve family in the process.

What We Help Teens With

Anxiety and depression, academic stress and perfectionism, social difficulties and peer relationships, identity exploration (including LGBTQ+ identity), trauma and abuse, self-harm and suicidal ideation, substance use, ADHD, mood disorders, and family conflict.

Our Approach With Teens

We meet teens where they are , not where adults think they should be. Our therapists use evidence-based modalities adapted for adolescents, including CBT, DBT, trauma-focused approaches, and motivational interviewing. We work collaboratively with parents when that's appropriate while maintaining the confidentiality teens need to actually open up.

Who We See

We work with adolescents ages 10 and older. Several clinicians on our team have specific experience and training working with teens, including Alejandra Belluche, LPC, Gabriela Padilla, LPC, and Ashley Ketchum, LCSW.
